Good to know

  • Eight backgrounds are available: Purple, Pink, Blue, Green, Sunset, Soft, Dark and White.
  • Padding and font size are adjustable so the image fits posts on X, LinkedIn or slides.
  • Code is shown in a monospace font without syntax colouring.
  • The image is rendered in your browser — your code is never uploaded.

Runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded or stored.

Frequently asked questions

Does it add syntax highlighting?

No. Code is rendered in a single colour on the chosen theme; use the dark or light theme for contrast.

How is this different from Carbon?

It offers a similar result — a framed code image on a background — without an account, and everything runs locally in your browser.

What image format do I get?

A PNG file, or an image copied to your clipboard where your browser supports it.

Is my code uploaded?

No. The screenshot is created entirely in your browser.
